Yosef Haim Kikirov
Born May 11, 1872
My great grandfather, born in late 1800s Samarkand, Uzbekistan, was a shoemaker. With eight children, including my grandfather Hanan Kikirov, like two of his brothers, pursued careers as barbers, their family’s entrepreneurial spirit flourished across generations.
Aharon Kikirov
Born April 28, 1904
Aharon Kikirov, brother of Hanan Kikirov, carried on the family tradition as a barber. With skilled hands and a dedication to his craft, he served his community with pride and skill.
Hanan Kikirov
Born January 1, 1905
My grandfather, Hanan Kikirov, born on January 1, 1905, in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, was not just a barber but a source of inspiration. His craft and dedication inspired Dr. Mike to follow in his footsteps, becoming a barber himself. Hanan Kikirov believed in the importance of being able to work with one’s hands, imparting the wisdom that craftsmanship is a timeless skill essential for personal and professional fulfillment.
Mishael Kikirov
Born May 9, 1920
Mishael Kikirov, brother to Hanan and great uncle to Dr. Mike, was also a dedicated barber, adding to the family’s proud tradition in the profession.
David Kikirov
Born April 15, 1942
David Kikirov, nephew of Hanan and uncle to Dr. Mike, carried on the family tradition as a dedicated barber, embodying the values of hard work and craftsmanship passed down by his uncle.
Rafail Kikirov
Born October 16, 1952
Dr. Mike’s uncle, Rafael Kikirov, also a son of Hanan Kikirov, dabbled briefly in barbering before exploring other interests. Inspired by his father’s dedication to the craft, even his short time as a barber left a lasting impression, shaping his appreciation for hard work and craftsmanship.
